Joaquín García Fernández was born in Murcia, Spain, in 1997. He received the Bachelor's and Master's degree
in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT), Cartagena, Spain, in 2019
and 2021, respectively. He is currently working within the framework of the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Innovative Training Networks at Wave Up s.r.l., Siena, Italy, as a Ph.D. student enrolled at the University of Siena.
His research interests include the analysis and design of Leaky-Wave Antennas and the Meta-Surfaces design
for RIS-based wireless networks.
